- Remuneration: SCHCADS Level 5 (dependent on qualifications and experience) Annual Salary plus 9.5% super

Youth Support + Advocacy Service (YSAS) is Australia’s largest and most comprehensive, youth specific community service organisation that enables young people experiencing serious disadvantage to access the resources and support they require to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.

The Youth Support Service (YSS) is an early intervention program within YSAS supporting young people aged 10 to 17 who have had recent contact with police and are at risk of entering the justice system. The Youth Support Service (YSS) approach adopts an outreach model and is client-centered, holistic, developmentally appropriate, family focused and culturally inclusive.
About the position
We are seeking an experienced Youth and Family worker with highly developed engagement skills to join our team located in Preston. You will be providing interventions that target the entire family, with an emphasis on parents/carers. It is a dynamic role that includes general youth work as well as family support work.
Please note: some after-hours work may be required to meet the needs of young people and families.
