| This program
is conducted by YSAS in collaboration with the Central
Gippsland Aboriginal Health and Housing Cooperative
from the Morwell YSAS centre. The program aims to
reduce and address inhalant use in the Latrobe Valley
with a focus on young people of indigenous background.
The program combines direct services for young people including case work and a youth group with community development and capacity building - working with the indigenous community to develop strategies to strengthen the social, familial and community connections of young people The project utilises a number of strategies to engage young people and the immediate community Connecting Koori Kids can be contacted through the YSAS Morwell Centre.
