The Bouverie Centre (Latrobe University)
This research project adopts a Cooperative Inquiry Research Process in order to:
- Gather both Indigenous local knowledge and mainstream practice knowledge about working effectively with vulnerable and at-risk Indigenous families.
- Identify the roles and responsibilities, current strengths, and training and support needs of Aboriginal child and family service workers in Victoria.
- To feed this knowledge back into the Aboriginal family therapy training and the Aboriginal communities, and so further develop the training.
