Young Parents Program

The Young Parents Program is a specialist service for young parents or pregnant women aged 12 to 25 years who are experiencing substance misuse and are likely to be the subject of intervention from Child Protection services.

Young Parents aims to:

  • improve parenting skills by providing both family support and drug treatment
  • protect the children born to young people who are misusing drugs.
The program covers the Southern Metropolitan Region and the Latrobe Valley.
