The Sunshine YSAS team provides the following services to young people from Local Government areas City of Brimbank, City of Maribyrnong, City of Melton, City of Wyndham and City of Hobsons Bay. 
Reach out program

The Reach Out Program works with vulnerable young people with substance use issues who are currently or have engaged with Child Protection, are transitioning from out of home care to independence, are linked with services such as Youth Justice, Family Violence, Homelessness, Mental Health and local youth services.

Collingwood Knights

As part of the Reclink Football League, this footy club is a very safe and positive place for people who have experienced social and emotional challenges to come along and participate in a sports and recreation program. Youth workers, coaches and support crew are available every session. All genders and abilities over 15 are encouraged to get involved. Every Wednesday at Victoria Park, Collingwood from 10am onwards.

Embedded youth outreach  (EYOP)

EYOP is a partnership between YSAS and Victoria Police. This pilot program pairs a police officer with a youth worker to provide an after-hours secondary response to young people coming into contact with police in the Wyndham area. The youth worker will assess the needs of the young person and provide initial support and referral.

Youth Empowerment Project (YEP)

The Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) works with CALD born young people who experience problematic substance use. Frequently this work includes supporting young people facing family violence and other complex relationship issues, homelessness, immigration issues, and justice-related issues.

Youth Forensic Outreach

The Forensic Youth Outreach Team works to support young people who are experiencing significant problems with their alcohol and/or drug use and who are linked in with the Justice System.

Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC)

YSAS are a lead service in the Wyndham PCYC which utilises a space for young people to access boxing programs, mentoring, and social activities. Additionally, young people have the chance to strengthen their relationship with the police.

Youth support Service (YSS)

The Youth Support Service responds directly to police referrals for young people exhibiting offending behaviours. Service response adopts client centred and family inclusive approach which includes diversion activities, restorative conversations and goal setting to avoid future offending.

Mobile Health Access Project (MHPA)

A partnership with Co-Health to operate a mobile health service offering outreach support to young people with an AOD focus. Made up of qualified AOD youth workers and a nurse. Located in the LGAs of Brimbank, Wyndham and Melton.
